Stars and Stripes Celebration!

Any plans for the 4th? Gather at Riehle Plaza in downtown Lafayette for a night of music and fireworks! Featured performances will include the Lafayette Citizen's Band, The Big Swing Band, The Greater Lafayette Freedom Singers, the Tippecanoe Ancient Fife and Drum Corps, and the Indiana All-Star Show Choir. 

Songs performed by  the Lafayette Citizens Band will include familiar patriotic tunes such as Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" and "God Bless the USA". 

For good measure, a bit of science fiction will be thrown into the mix with a medley titled, "Space and Beyond". The medley features music from "Star Wars", "Star Trek", and "2001: A Space Odyssey". 

The performances will begin at 7 pm and fireworks will start at dusk.

Bring your lawn chairs and friends for an evening of fun! Admission is free.
