Tippecanus Rex

The (un)natural history of Tippecanoe County has come to the Tippecanoe Arts Federation. In conjunction with Purdue Galleries, the Tippecanoe Arts Federation presents Tippecanus Rex through May 10.

Purdue Galleries director Craig Martin says, "Tippecanus Rex" is about creativity and imagination from people of all ages in this area. It’s a chance to know and celebrate (and maybe make up) the history of what we are and to exaggerate and Build the big myths of Tippecanoe County."

"The project is meant to be whimsical and imaginative, teasing visitors with mythical beasts, imagined histories and fake statistics. It also emphasizes the contributions and new creative works of artists, writers and performers in this area."

Tippecanoe Arts Federation director Tetia Lee says, “This show epitomizes the idea of community spirit as it invites every citizen, big or small, to partake in this creative endeavor."

Don't miss out on seeing this great show and wonderful imaginations of local artists.
